When it comes to flowers, I’m a dreamer. I’m happiest with florals roaming my mental landscape, pushing my imagination in relentless pursuit of all the beautiful and creative possibilities. I want my work to inspire you to embrace the art of dreaming and dare to envision a brighter more vibrant world.

My Floral Philosophy & Approach
I used to think it all started with a vision, but over the years I’ve come to realize it all begins with a feeling. Feelings create our thoughts and ideas and in turn our visions and dreams. Capturing those feelings is the first step and the framework behind the process of each of my designs. Whether you’re looking for something simple or intricate, even a single stem can add feeling and symbolism and give shape to create major impact and depth to any occasion.
Beyond their visual allure, flowers have the unique ability to cultivate emotional connections, making them a powerful tool for communication and expression. Their presence is transformative and regardless of language or culture; flowers have a universal appeal creating a vocabulary all their own with the inherent quality of being able to speak to everyone.
My approach is simple and personal. I want to translate those expressions through art that connects, evokes emotion and ultimately makes people happy. Each design is crafted with love and intention and I aim to create an experience that is as beautiful as it is meaningful. From the initial consultation to the final flourish, we’ll work together to bring your vision to life, infusing Hola Lola’s signature style along the way.

WHY HOLA LOLA?
My love of flowers began in my mamita’s garden. That’s where I earned a deep appreciation for their strength and resilience. Beautiful and delicate while also overcoming so many obstacles and sometimes the harshest conditions only to bloom; strong, beautiful and cheerful.
There are countless parallels between life and gardens, and even people and flowers. The lessons I learned from my mother through gardening, how she viewed the world and how she took care of flowers and people, inspires so much of what I do and is ultimately why I named my business as a tribute in her honor.
She was an angel even before we lost her. She valued love, authenticity, compassion, gratitude, empowerment and could find the beauty in everything; all qualities that have helped shape Hola Lola Floral Co. into what it is today. It’s more than just a business. More than flowers. It’s a continuation of her legacy.
Every gesture of craftsmanship is a moment of reunion with her and my little chance to say hello. At a time when I felt that I lost my whole world, I tried (and on some level still am trying) to find a way to connect with her and find myself again. I turned to flowers to help regain a sense of renewal, and it wasn’t until I discovered the profound impact flowers could have on other people’s emotions that my passion ignited even further.
What started as a way to help heal, ended in the realization that I could spread happiness to others through flowers while also keeping my mother’s heart alive. And even though she may not be by my side in a physical sense; no more hugs, hearing the sound of her beautiful voice or getting to ask her the million questions I know only she has the answers to…I still never want to say good bye. So instead, I will continue to make art and surround myself with flowers. I get to say Hola with every stem, every creation. And I know she’s saying it back with every flower I see.
